Glion has been at the forefront of excellence in hospitality education for over 50 years. Since its founding in 1962 by Walter Hunziker and Frédéric Tissot, Glion has retained a sense of traditional Swiss hospitality while adapting its programs and courses to an ever-changing industry. Glion Institute of Higher Education is truly global with two campuses in Switzerland, one campus in London, and a set of online and multicampus programs which offer flexible options and full immersion in the international hospitality management and events management fields.Glion is one of only three Swiss hospitality schools to be accredited at university level by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. NEASC is one of six regional accrediting bodies recognized by the US Secretary of Education. Glion is accredited at university level and thereby delivers its own undergraduate and graduate awards.

Glion Institute of Higher Education is accredited by the New England Associations of Schools and Colleges, Inc. through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. Accreditation of an Institution of Higher Education by the New England Association indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment for institutional quality periodically applied through a peer review process.

An accredited college or university is one which has available the necessary resources to achieve its stated purpose through appropriate educational programs, is substantially doing so, and gives reasonable evidence that it will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Institutional publications and the most recent audited financial statement, or a fair summary thereof, are available upon request. Institutional integrity is also addressed through accreditation. Accreditation by the New England Association is not partial but applies to the institution as a whole. As such, it is not a guarantee of every course or program offered, or the competence of individual graduates.

In the 3.5-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or BA in Hospitality Management degrees you can study in Switzerland or study in London, or experience both renowned hubs of business and tourism. MASTER OF SCIENCE OVERVIEW

This one-year, hybrid master of science program will open the doors for careers in hospitality finance and revenue management in international service organizations. As a highly concentrated program, this master’s of finance covers the principles and practices of financial management in the hospitality industry. It develops practical skills and analytical tools for financial decision making and innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.

As a hybrid master program, the MSc is delivered partly on campus, partly online making it one of our most affordable programs for students who wish to integrate the workforce sooner, and reduce accommodation expenses. The program can be adapted with bridging courses or taken as a “follow-on” degree for recent bachelor degree graduates.
